Organizational Structure

The Mid-Coast Regional Planning Commission (MCRPC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that is exclusively owned and operated by its member communities through their elected representatives. MCRPC is composed of representation from all of the member municipalities in our region. In addition, we offer opportunity for input from Knox and Waldo Counties, and local development groups. MCRPC consists of an Executive Board, Officers, and professional staff.

The Executive Board is elected by the membership to oversee the organization's operation. This allows the Officers to guide the future direction, level of service, role and function of MCRPC.

Anne Krieg, AICP, is the Executive Director.  She was the Director of Planning, Economic and Community Development in Bridgton, Maine.  She worked with the Community Development Committee, Board of Appeals, and the Planning Board, as well as the resource staff for Bridgton's Economic Development Corporation, Wastewater Committee, & Microloan Review Committee.  Other assignments included drafting a hybrid land use code, Streetscape Design Development for Main Street, management of CDBG projects, and, activities related to economic development.  Prior to Bridgton, she was the Planning and Development Director for the Town of Bar Harbor, Maine for 9 years.

Anne has over 25 years of experience in the planning profession including serving the towns of Reading and Danvers, Massachusetts, as well as for private firms at Mason & Frey, John Crowe & Associates, Dober Lidksy Craig & Associates, and Geller & Associates.

Anne spends her free time hiking, biking, and holding dinner parties with friends, along with her husband Rob Krieg, a partner in LARK, a landscape architectural firm in Bar Harbor, and, her three children aged 23, 17 and 12.  A graduate of SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University, she remains a loyal SU Basketball fan and is also a rabid Patriotís fan.  Effective 2/21/2017, Anne's email is MCRPC @ midcoast.com.
